I had been searching to get into a walkable neighborhood for 5 years. Worked with a few realtors before Max so I was cautious to work with yet another. But he was my brother's realtor and as soon as I reached out, I understood why. He heard my priorities and completely absorbed them as though they were his own, no matter how tricky or specific. It felt like working with a family member, one eager to go to bat for me with effortless understanding. Max had unwavering faith that my vision was worth the patience. He kept morale high during slow market months and during showings season, he was outstandingly knowledgeable about older buildings, their value as well as potential complications. Max understood that I needed a lot of hand holding as this was my first time selling and buying in one. Methodically communicative about next steps for all parties involved at each stage, he kept the ball rolling through the months of searching for the new, and prepping the old. He had sage wisdom about listing and helped gain many offers in one weekend that made my house sell for well over asking price. This potentially very overwhelming experience was streamlined, quick, and actually enjoyable. And lastly, he helped me snag the house of my dreams.
